Responsible for leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) business deployment projects for Bank of Hawaii. Facilitates discovery sessions to analyze content and gather ECM business requirements. Works with Solution Architects to define solutions that add value to the business. Collaborates on design, configuration, content migration and implementation activities aligned to realize the effective ECM business solution. If applicable or appropriate, ensures business unit's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.. We will give you these responsibilities. Business Partnership. Improves positive business relationships with business units and partners.. Ensures technical staff identifies and documents business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, document scope, document metadata, and document access requirements.. Ensures technical staff and business partners' work towards the best design alternatives and solutions to meet agreed requirements, taxonomy modeling and workflow performance.. Analyzes business partner operations to determine opportunities to streamline and automate business process.. Understands changing business conditions and their impact on existing processes and operations.. Ensures that the design and integration of proposed systems, software, and hardware solutions lead to the development and growth of business through effective use of technology.. Leads project planning sessions with clients, business analysts and team members to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and objectives.. Leads efforts and communicates project status, schedules and risk assessment.. Negotiates and tracks agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and IT.. Works with businesses after implementation to ensure successful understanding and use of the new ECM solution.. Leadership. Coordinates and communicates status on issues, projects and other business activities.. Understands the elements of overall department management to include: audit, compliance, policy management, budget management, business continuity, project management, resource management, service management, strategic planning, communication, and vendor management.. Assists with ECM work queue and prioritization.. Provides staff mentoring and coaching to foster a strong team atmosphere.. Provides input for performance management and development opportunities of junior staff.. Oversees the definition, design and project scope development for projects of varying complexity. Researches and facilitates the development of new approaches and techniques for possible implementation. Works closely with management team to assure all systems are in line with long term strategy.. Defines standards and methodologies that reflect industry best practices.. Attends vendor conferences, training and site visits.. Educates users on systems and processes and acts as an IT consultant.. Coordinates project activities, conducts systems research and analysis, recommends alternatives, and ensures implementation.. Helps educate the IT organization on the direction of the business and/or emerging technology. Production Maintenance. Directs analysis of problems and ensures corrective actions are initiated up through resolution to affected customers in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements.. Leads trouble-shooting efforts and inquiries for systems and product related questions.. Plans training for IT professionals and end-users.. Assures appropriate knowledge transfer to customers and internally, maintains system and user documentation, instructions and procedures, and demonstrates best practices. Creates or assists others in writing system and user documentation, instructions and procedures, and demonstrates best practices. Acts as a liaison between customers and technical teams to identify, research, and resolve problems with application systems, their associated interfaces, and underlying infrastructure.. Escalates with appropriate vendor management for problem resolution.. Manages application system updates to current revision levels and ensures that processes are in place to ensure that similar updates are applied to the underlying infrastructure and associated interfaces. Gathers business requirements and translates them into internet/Web architecture to achieve business objectives.. Provides software product administration, training and help desk support.. Systems Analysis. Provides systems analysis and design to meet functional and organizational requirements. Assists in the development of Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposal (RFPs) and business cases.. Ensures that systems designs align with Bank of Hawaii's short and long term strategies.. Determines feasibility of new projects by assessing support requirements, risk, and financial impact. Recommends architectural changes based on new or changing business requirements. Evaluates and recommends new products, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise.. Provides appropriate documentation for key content deliverables (Business requirements, functional Design, test scripts, UAT defects reports, training materials), design decisions, estimate assumptions, and performance metrics. Testing. Helps drive the application of industry standards toward the development of test plans as appropriate.. Develops, coordinates, and implements test plans to test business and functional requirements during solution development and participates in system testing individually. Reviews test environments and processes and makes recommendations for improvement as appropriate for systems of varying complexity.. Directs and executes system and/or acceptance testing.. Works with business units and IT teams to define processes for conducting testing and reviewing results.. Performs design and pre-implementation walkthroughs.. Ensures development and the validity of a disaster recovery plan for an application. Recommends and constructs appropriate test environments, plans and associated processes, from inception to conclusion of work effort:. Vendor Management. Implements and oversees processes for fulfillment of terms.. Manages vendor relationships in accordance with Bank of Hawaii vendor management policies and procedures including the completion of annual scorecards where applicable.. Ensures resolution of issues and concerns with vendor performance especially where there is impact to production and project deliverables.. Responsible for implementing the vendor relationship strategies; is able to communicate corporate standards and requirements to better align vendor support delivery.. Actively participates in contractual negotiations and leads appropriate changes based on corporate IT standards and support requirements.. Participates in the budget process. Continually seeks optimal value in service from vendors, reviewing and monitoring performance and return-on-investment metrics.. Leads users in the assessment of vendor solution options, identifying risks, cost/benefits, and on-going support considerations.. Qualifications. You will need these qualifications. 1.. Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. Major in information technology, computer science or related major preferred.. 2.. Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis or equivalent work experience. Should have the following experience:. Analyzing business process and use of case diagrams to specify detail operations to be performed.. Working collaboratively to build relationships with other consultants, customer staff, and third party consultants.. Working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.. Developing KPI's to determine business impact and value of ECM business solutions.. Understanding of and ability to apply basic consulting methodologies to provide design support.. Real world SharePoint or OpenText experience preferred. Enterprise Content Management and Knowledge Management experience preferred.. 3.. Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers in a networked environment and with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint, Project) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.. 4.. Other Job Qualifications:. Must be able to develop, articulate, and deliver information to team members, peers, and staff..
