A day in your life as a Segment Marketing Manager:
Under the direction of the - Chief Strategic Marketing and Experience Officer, this position is responsible for the execution of marketing strategies for the mass affluent and high net worth client segments. Oversees segment brand, advertising, promotions and marketing support activities; and supports the creation of an exceptional client experience. Ensures business unit s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

Strategy Development and AnalysisProvides the primary point of contact for marketing with the management and relationship teams serving the mass affluent and high net worth segments. Assists in the development and manages the execution of marketing strategies across traditional and digital channels to achieve business objectives. Helps identify market opportunities, competitive positioning, analytic needs and implications of program results. Partners with research and analytics areas to identify information needs to gain key insights to inform marketing programs. Develops budgets and metrics for all programs and tracks results to plan.

Marketing Program Development and Execution
Oversees and/or provides counsel to cross-functional teams in the development and execution of integrated marketing programs, including strategy development, creative execution, target list selection, legal and compliance approval, and internal communications development. Collaborates on the ongoing development of plans to improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts and refinement of processes. Works with the Brand and Advertising team to ensure that the overall Bank of Hawaii brand, along with any applicable sub-brands, is properly reflected in all marketing communications.
Client Experience and Relationship Management
Develops a deep understanding of segment needs and advocates for those needs across the organization. Leads information-gathering and analysis to identify insights to optimize client experiences to enhance engagement and drive revenue. Develops effective relationships with other Marketing team leaders, Product and Channel managers, Operations, Legal and Compliance and other key influencers to ensure strong collaboration to deliver marketing programs that support organization goals.
Assists with budget management to achieve segment marketing and corporate financial objectives.Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution in business, marketing, advertising, public relations or related area.
5-7 years related work experience in marketing communications or related area financial industry and/or affluent segment experience a plus.
Experience in driving all aspects of the marketing mix, including customer segmentation, value proposition creation, public relations, advertising, sales tools/collateral and internal communications.
Uses a personal computer and demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Internet Explorer, Word, Power Point and Excel.
Other Job Qualifications:
Excellent communications skills, including demonstrated verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation.
Possesses a balance of high-level analytic and creative skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills required to execute and complete projects on-time.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and assignments with demanding deadlines.
Must possess valid driver s license, be able to provide own transportation and ability to commute and arrive at intended destination in a timely manner and/or as required, or ability to operate a vehicle with a valid driver s license.
