Estimated Length: 24 months Monday to Friday, 9 to 5:30 (including 1-hour unpaid lunch break), Paid weekly hours per week 37.50 Hours.

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
4+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in change management, software training for non-technical staff, or related field
Experience in software / web product rollout, especially in the content management space and/or website development.
Communications or marketing experience.
Experience working with both technical and business communities.
Empathy and good creative problem-solving skills.
A cursory understanding of technical concepts like APls, content management and web
applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and communicate user activities
o Schedule user testing and observe, documenting challenges and successes
o Communicate a schedule of development activities to the user groups
Develop a training plan and rollout schedule
Document user feedback, both successes and areas for product improvement
Identify customer pain points and help to shape the communications product platform strategy.
Act as our user liaison and provide support to our users during rollout and beyond.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

  • The Live Media Manager Platform will be developed and rolled out to all agency communications staff. Communications people who have done their work a certain way will be asked to do things differently.
  • This role is key to ensuring that users are involved in the software development process, excited by the new platform they are helping to create and ready and able to use the new content management tool/platform.
  • The platform will provide the ability for client staff to manage content on digital screens in our network, create and send sms/text messages, and email alerts and other communications.
  • This role will be responsible for developing communications plans and timelines, training plans and user training sessions, and roll out schedules and helping troubleshoot challenges for users along the way.
