REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital design
Expert proficiency in major visual design, wireframing, and prototyping tools (Sketch, lnvision, Abstract, Framer/Principle, lnDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma)
Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, experience working with CMS platforms, and experience prototyping.
Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (especially when it comes to
defending design decisions!)
Ability to contribute to product strategy
Knowledge of accessibility best practices
Experience designing transportation communications or products a plus, but not required
Motion graphics skills a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and executes creative strategy around transportation communications (train arrivals,
departures, status and planned work), user-centered design initiatives (new station opening
creative, wayfinding, accessibility enhancements), understanding our customers' needs to create
awesome experiences
Master collaborator! You'll be working side-by-side with product managers, communications
teams, engineers, and other stakeholders
Shepherds projects from ideation (wireframes and prototypes) through launch (template design,
UAT) and beyond
Create and present unique and engaging visual designs using our existing iconic visual language, also consolidating it and refining it to create a visual design guidebook
o Create and present wireframes, storyboards and user flows to communicate concepts
o Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
o Validate your design solutions through user research and monitor efficacy using data

SUMMARY OF THE FUNCTION/ROLE

  • The Live Media Manager Platform will be developed and rolled out to all agency communications staff. With many different form factors, we are already experiencing a backlog of graphic needs because resources with expertise in this area are not dedicated to this ongoing effort.
  • The platform will provide the ability for client staff to manage Outfront screens and other digital screens in our network, create and send sms/text messages, and email alerts and other communications.
  • This role will be responsible for developing templates for each type of communication, standardize graphics, motion video and more to support the system.
